KNIGHTS TEMPLARS
A religious order founded in 1119 of knights who took vows of poverty
,chastity, and obedience and distinguished themselves in the Crusades.The
enormous wealth of the order led to them being attacked by the French king
Philip Iv who suppressed the order.
