THE DARK AGES
The so-called Dark ages covers that period of time between the end of the
Roman empire and the 10th century. It was a time of barbarian invasions and
mass European migrations, the destruction of monasteries and learning and
and the end of Empire. However, during this time the seeds of a new Europe
were also born.
