(Sample Version) If you want an unencumbered copy of the program send US$20
to the author at the above address. In return you will be mailed promptly
a 3.5" disc with more data, a manual, the next upgrade, and the phone # of
a BBS offering free stock market data.

PLOT v3.2s needs MS Windows 3.1, a VGA display or better, mouse, and about
900KB of free hard disc space. Some sample data is also provided.
Installation is automatic and takes just seconds.

This is a unique charting and analysis program for MS Windows that gives you
the lines you want quickly without 'fuss'. It's an easy to use alternative
to bloated programs having a steep learning curve and needing thick manuals.
Its features include ...

	* Trend indicators like moving averages, moving average
convergence/divergence, linear regression (best fit) lines,
and a regression line slope oscillator.

	* Momentum oscillators like Lane's Stochastics
and a variation of Wilder's Relative Strength Index.

	* Volatility measurement and volatility bands.

	* Chart printing and copying facilities.

	* Trend and channel line drawing tools.

The program reads stock, commodity, and mutual fund (any time series) data
stored as ASCII text files whose fields are numbers separated ('delimited')
by a space, a comma (CSV format) or a tab. It doesn't like file 'headers'
imbedded in the first line or blank lines. You can update data manually
using a text editor like Windows Notepad or Write. The data must be in one
of the following formats ...

		yymmdd anyintegerordecimalnumber
		yymmdd close volume
		yymmdd hi lo close
		yymmdd hi lo close volume
yymmdd open hi lo close volume
yymmdd open hi lo close volume openinterest

Note: yymmdd must be a 6 digit date (i.e. 931201) with
		no '/'s or '-'s. 12/01/93 or 12-01-93 won't work.
Similarly, all other fields must be numbers with no
		'/'s, '-'s, or '^'s. A TBond price of 101.03125 will
		work but 101-01 or 101^01 won't.

If you've downloaded PLOT32S.ZIP from a bulletin board, 'unzip' the setup
disc files, if necessary, and copy them to a floppy. Then install the
program from the floppy disc by running the SETUP.EXE program from
within Windows. To do so, select FILE from Program Manager's Main Menu Bar,
then choose Run. Use the Browse option to select SETUP.EXE from the floppy
disc. Or, at the prompt, type a:setup (or b:setup) as apropos.

If you use the defaults, the setup routine creates a directory called
\PLOT32 and two subdirectories called ...\INIFILES and ...\DATFILES. Your
data files may be located anywhere.

No tampering is done to your CONFIG.SYS or AUTOEXEC.BAT files. Since setup
creates its own Program Group having only the Plot v3.2 Icon in it, you
might want to relocate the icon. To do so, drag the Plot v3.2 Program Icon
to whichever Program Group you wish. Then delete the Plot 32 Program Group.

The distribution disc contents are shown in the PACKING.LST text file.
Use that list as a guide when removing the program files from the hard disc
should you decide the program is not for you.

You may not modify, decompile, or disassemble the software. You may freely
use and distribute this version of the software, with the following
restrictions:

	(a) It may not be included in a software or hardware package
marketed for resale without the authors consent; and

	(b) The media containing this software must include this
document and all other files originally distributed with
	    the software in unaltered form.

In no event shall the author be liable for any damages whatsoever
arising out of the use or inability to use this product. If you do
not agree to the terms of this agreement, destroy all of your copies of the
