Downloading a File is normally done from the Files Menu by
selecting the D selection on the Menu. In order for this
to work you need to know the Name of the File you want to
download ahead of time. An easier way is when you are in the
file listing _ The area where you view what files are available
to you based upon your Security Level _ You can use the Mark ( M )
function as you scan each file. This works best if you have
a communications program that supports Zmodem protocol for
batch downloading. This way you can make several files and
download them all automatically without having to type in
the different file names each time.
Then when you select ( D ) from the Files Menu you will be given
the list of files you marked and asked if you want to accept
them as default.
You must know how to Enable the File Receive function on
your communications program before you try to download a file
unless you have a program that has Auto download protocol.
Telix with Zmodem enabled supports this type of function.
Be sure you have the correct download and upload protocol
selected in you User Settings from the Main Menu under User
settings or selection ( Y ) on the main menu.
