Upgrade information for Master-B version 3.00

To upgrade, execute the file MBV3.EXE, read this one, and edit your current
configuration.

Config File changeover:
Far left column is the line number, next column to the right is what the
configuration file USED to be, the IS column is what the config NOW is, and
the Previously line # shows the line numbers the new version takes from the
old version.

You can do the conversion yourself with a text editor. It's pretty easy...

LINE # WAS **IS** Previously
                                                                     line #

LINE 1 Path\Name of ascii file | Your BBS type (See Below) N/A
LINE 2 Path\Name of ansi file | (/#) Where # is from 1 to 7 N/A
LINE 3 Ansi before display | Your name *ONLY* N/A
LINE 4 Ansi after display | BBS name REPLACES 7

LINE 9 Bulletin\Path\ | Ansi before display 3
LINE 10 The filenames | Ansi after display 4
LINE 11 The filenames | Ascii before display 5
LINE 12 The filenames | Ascii after display 6
LINE 13 The filenames | Bulletin\Path 9

**Valid BBS types are {CASE IS SENSITIVE!!!!} /PCBoard for PCBoard, /#, /RA,
  and /Other PLEASE READ ON!!

/PCBoard systems will change the Bulletin\Path to the PATH (including the
backslash) of their BLT.LST file. The PCBoard sysop can then delete
the filenames of lines 14 downward, but KEEP THE DESCRIPTION. Edit
it so that the descriptions start in column 1, or, start them in row
2 if you want a spacing character in the display file. The
bulletin-names are retrieved from the PCBoard's BLT.LST file, so you
don't need to list them here. Just make sure your BLT.LST and your
Master-B config file keep updated together.

/# Is for numerically listed bulletins (ie SpitFire, Searchlight, RyBBS).
Users of this format do not need to change the filenames already
listed. So, leave lines after (and including) 10 alone.

/RA for alphabetically listed bulletins (ie sysop-configured systems like
Maximus, RemoteAccess, QuickBBS, etc.). Users of this format do not
need to change the filenames or descriptions already listed. So,
leave lines after (and including) 10 alone.

/Other will probably NOT be used as an upgrade, but I'll include it in here
just for the heck of it. Since it's hard to explain, here's an
example: | <--- Left column AB BULLETIN.ASC Description here

First is the 1, 2, or three letter/number/whatever name of your
bulletin, the filename starts at column 4, and the description starts
at line 17. You can edit this to your liking. Use this if your
Bulletins are named 'strangely', or, in a system where your first
bulletin is 1A, your second is 1B, or any other 'odd' naming
convention where you need to define the names yourself. You may need
to check the documentation for this option.

If you have any questions, check the documentation. If you still have
questions, don't hesitate to contact me, Scott Fell, at Quandra BBS
(602)527-8895 for installation (or upgrade) instructions.
