FileView Release Notes ___________________________________________________________________________ FileView Release Notes The following release notes describe the changes to FileView in the various versions of the program. Version 1.12,C January, 1991 Version 1.12 fixes minor bugs, revises the file open dialog, and adds a help function. Functional Changes 1 When wildcards are specified, the extension (with or without wildcards) is saved as the default extension. The new default extension remains in effect for the duration of the program, or until changed again. 2 Added a help preliminary help function (1.12C). Presentation Changes 1 File Open dialog. Split file and drive/directory selection into two list boxes similar to other Windows 3.0 programs. Fixes 1 Fixed 'Hourglass' cursor handling for file opens and text searches. 2 Changed 'record' handling to recognize both crlf and lfcr combinations (1.12C). Other Changes Version 1.11 December 10, 1990 Version 1.11 adds window and file print support. Functional Changes 1 Printer support has been added. The current window or the entire file may be printed. If multiple printers are available, the desired printer may be chosen and configured. A refresh command has been added. If a file changes while being view, the display get messed up.
