ALREADY DOWNLOADED THE SOFTWARE, YOU MUST IMMEDIATELY DESTROY OR PERMANENTLY
DELETE ALL COPIES OF THE SOFTWARE.

  JConfig License Agreement

1. Samizdat Productions ("Samizdat") grants you a non-exclusive,
non-transferable, limited license to use the software components comprising
JConfig version 1.1b5 ( "Software" ). Versions of JConfig other than 1.1b5
are not covered by this License Agreement. There is no fee for this license.
You may not redistribute the Software or any portion thereof under any
circumstances or by any means whatsoever except as outlined in Section 3 of
this License Agreement.

2. Restrictions.
You acknowledge that Samizdat or its Licensors retain exclusive ownership of
all copyrights, trademarks, patents and/or other intellectual property
rights in the Software. You are not granted any rights in the Software other
than the license rights expressly set forth in this License Agreement. The
Software contains copyrighted material, trade secrets, and other proprietary
material. In order to protect them, and except as permitted by applicable
legislation, you may not decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble or
otherwise reduce the Software to a human-perceivable form. You may not
modify, rent, lease, sell, assign, sublicense, loan, distribute, or create
derivative works based upon the Software in whole or in part. You may not
remove any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices from the
Software.

3. Redistributable Components
The following components of the Software are termed the Redistributable
Components:

	JConfig.zip
	JConfig.shlb
	jcnfigSN.dll
	jcnfigMS.dll
	jcnfigM2.dll
	jconfig.cfg

You may reproduce and redistribute the Redistributable Components only in
object code form and only when incorporated into your software product. Your
software product must add substantial and primary functionality to the
Redistributable Components. You may not include the Redistributable
Components as part of a library, development tool, or software development
kit that exposes the APIs of the Redistributable Components, or which
enables the users of your software product to directly interact with the
classes and methods of the Redistributable Components. Further, you may not
permit the users of your software product to redistribute any of the
Redistributable Components, except as a part of your software product.

In order to protect Samizdat's intellectual property rights in the Software,
you must reproduce on each copy of your product a copyright notice that
clearly states:

"Copyright _ [Licensee Name]. Portions Copyright 1997-98 Samizdat
  Productions. All Rights Reserved."

and you must distribute your product pursuant to a valid agreement that is
at least as protective of Samizdat's rights in the Software as this License
Agreement.

4. Termination. Without prejudice to any other rights, Samizdat may
terminate this License Agreement immediately without notice from Samizdat if
you fail to comply with any provision of this License. You agree that, upon
such termination, you will destroy or permanently erase all copies of the
Software, and that you will immediately cease any redistribution of the
Redistributable Components.

5. Disclaimer of Warranty on Software.
You expressly acknowledge and agree that use of the Software is at your sole
risk. The Software is provided "AS IS" and without warranty of any kind and
Samizdat EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED,
INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY,
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT. SAMIZDAT DOES NOT
WARRANT THAT THE FUNCTIONS CONTAINED IN THE SOFTWARE WILL MEET YOUR
REQUIREMENTS, OR THAT THE OPERATION OF THE SOFTWARE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR
ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DEFECTS IN THE SOFTWARE WILL BE CORRECTED. FURTHERMORE,
SAMIZDAT DOES NOT WARRANT OR MAKE ANY REPRESENTATIONS REGARDING THE USE OR
THE RESULTS OF THE USE OF THE SOFTWARE IN TERMS OF THEIR CORRECTNESS,
ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE. NO ORAL OR WRITTEN INFORMATION OR
ADVICE GIVEN BY SAMIZDAT SHALL CREATE A WARRANTY OR IN ANY WAY INCREASE THE
SCOPE OF THIS WARRANTY. SHOULD THE SOFTWARE PROVE DEFECTIVE, YOU ( AND NOT
SAMIZDAT OR A SAMIZDAT AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE ) ASSUME THE ENTIRE COST OF
ALL NECESSARY SERVICING, REPAIR OR CORRECTION. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES
INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE, SHALL SAMIZDAT OR ANY SUPPLIER BE LIABLE FOR ANY
INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, EXEMPLARY OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY
KIND (INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOSS OF USE OR INTERRUPTION OF BUSINESS), OR
FOR LEGAL FEES, ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF THE SOFTWARE OR THE INABILITY TO
USE THE SOFTWARE, REGARDLESS OF THE FORM OF ACTION, WHETHER IN CONTRACT,
TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT PRODUCT LIABILITY OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF
SAMIZDAT HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT
WILL SAMIZDAT'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM EXCEED $5 (US). SOME
JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR DO NOT
ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO
THE ABOVE LIMITATION(S) OR EXCLUSION(S) MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

6. Entire Agreement
This License Agreement is the entire agreement between you and Samizdat
relative to the Software, and supersedes all prior statements, proposals or
agreements relative to its subject matter, written or oral. It may be
modified only by a writing executed by an authorized representative of
Samizdat.

7. Controlling Law and Severability.
This License shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws
of the United States and the State of California, as applied to agreements
entered into and to be performed entirely within California between
California residents. If for any reason a court of competent jurisdiction
finds any provision of this License, or portion thereof, to be
unenforceable, that provision of the License shall be enforced to the
maximum extent permissible so as to effect the intent of the parties, and
the remainder of this License shall continue in full force and effect.

8. Trademarks
JConfig is a trademark of Samizdat Productions. Other trademarks are the
property of their respective owners.
