DICT is a freeware dictionary client for Windows 95 and 98.

ABOUT:
It connects to a dictionary server and retrieves the definition from
a database on the server. It has the ability to print the definition,
copy it to clipboard, or save it to a text file. It also supports
   command line queries.

DISTRIBUTION:
DICT is freeware and may be distributed, copied, and used freely by
anyone as long as the files remain unchanged.

The contents of the archive are:
   DICT.EXE
   DICT.INI
   README.TXT
   FILE_ID.DIZ

INSTALLATION:
   1) Make a directory for the program. (c:\dict)
   2) Extract the archive to that directory.
   3) Make a shortcut on your desktop to the DICT.EXE in that directory.

FEATURE REQUESTS:
If you have an idea for a feature to be added to DICT, please send
any suggestions or requests to monkey@citynet.net.

BUG REPORTS:
With this being my first attempt at programming, I've had my share of
bugs building this. I think I've got them all fixed, but should you
run across what you think is a bug or just something annoying you
would like to be changed, please send a detailed explanation of the
error and any information I may need to recreate it (in order to fix
   it) to monkey@citynet.net.

A MESSAGE FROM ALEKS:
If you like this software, please just drop me a line sometime, even
if it is just something like, "Hey, I really like DICT." It gives
me a great feeling to know that other people enjoy my work.

If you don't like this software, please give me some feedback as to
what I can do to improve it.

There's one more request I have, sorry if this seems repetitive, but
if you know of any public dictionary servers other than the one at
dict.org, please send them to me. I would like to give this client
the ability to connect to any server, but I would like to test it on
a couple before I added that feature to ensure compatibility.

Thanks to everyone who downloads and tries this out, and special
thanks to all my friends for humoring me as I was developing it. =)
