Features: - Automatic support for screen sizes other than 25 x 80

- Graceful termination upon abnormal termination of client (link or computer failure)

- Compatible with 3rd party Telnet clients such as Microsoft Telnet, CRT, Ewan, PowerTerm

- Support Terminal emulation's DEC VT100, DEC VT220

- Remote Monitoring of existing Telnet connections and users logged in

- Remote disabling/enabling new connections to host

- Use of password file (passwords are encrypted in password file)

Installation: 1. Unzip the Telnetd zip file to your installation directory.

2. Run telnetdps.exe to create password file.

3. Run telnetd.exe to start GoodTech Telnet server

Troubleshooting: 1. If port #23 is used (the default port for telnet server) you can use other port
By giving a number other than 23 in the command line when starting the Telnet Server.

2. In Order to use the monitoring feature you should logged in as 'telnetd' (lower case) user.

telnetd commands(lower case): - telnetd status : Shows all user connections
- telnetd disable : Disables new connections to host machine
- telnetd enable : Enables connections to host machines
- telnetd shutdown : Shuts down TELNET SERVER

Note: All Telnetd commands can run on the host machine, or remotely using 'telnetd' user.
