Thanks for trying NetForum 3.1.

Installation

Step 1: Unzip all files into a temporary folder.

Step 2: Run setup.exe.

Step 3: When setup asks whether you want to start NetForum, select yes

Step 3: Click on the icon in the System Tray (usually at the lower right
hand corner of your screen). This will take you to the
        NetForum status screen.

Step 4: Click on the [Settings...] button. This will take you to the
        NetForum Control Center.

Step 5: Enter the necessary information for:

Your E-mail account (POP3 server, login name, password)

Your Web account (FTP server, login name, password)

By default NetForum is configurated to wait for a dial-up connection
to be established, and to check the mailbox every 30 minutes. You
can modify this behavior under "Schedule". NetForum can dial up
to the Internet automatically, and will terminate the call when it
        finishes.

Step 6: Click [Close]. NetForum will then attempt to log onto your
mail server to look for new message (initially there would be
none, of course), as well as uploading HTML files to your web site.

Step 7: Create hyperlink in your homepage that points to the files
        NetForum creates:

        nf_messages.htm Message forum
nf_sites.htm Link list (disable by default)
nf_questions.htm Survey questions (disable by default)
nf_answers.htm Survey results (disable by default)

After all that NetForum will run quietly in the background, waiting for new
messages to arrive, then upload them to your web site.
