All Rights Reserved This is the READ.ME file for panaStation Classic v1.00. It contains information that has changed or is different from the Installation Guide, as well as some other useful tips. I. TIPS/ERRATA/FEATURES/REVISIONS ============================================================ 100-Level and Backing-Store --------------------------- panaStation Classic is a 100-level MicroStation driver. Support for Backing-Store is not available in 100-Level drivers. Line Weight and Window Positioning Caveats ------------------------------------------ Moving windows over lines greater than one pixel wide may result in the line appearing broken or jagged when the window is removed. This is part of the nature of 100-level MicroStation drivers. To restore the lines, it may be necessary to Update the view. PANACFG ------- To avoid having to reconfigure panaStation when starting MicroStation from directories other than the main USTATION directory, you may set the environment variable PANACFG. When present, panaStation will look to the sub-directory defined by the PANACFG variable for the PANACFG1.DAT and PANACFG2.DAT files. If the .DAT files are present the data will be used to start MicroStation, the driver will begin its configuration process if the files are not found. Syntax for the PANACFG variable is: SET PANACFG={path} where {path} is the complete path name of the sub-directory which holds the PANACFGx.DAT file(s). II. What if I Have Problems? ============================ If you encounter a problem with panaStation, please try to duplicate, and document, the steps required to reproduce it. As you document the problem, list your current system configuration, including video board, resolution, number of colors configured, etc. Also, if possible, try to duplicate the problem with a MicroStation sample file so that we can easily try to re-create the problem on our equipment.
