I threw my ass in a dumpster looked through some papers for about 10 minutes and found some cool stuff. I first found a paper on the Siecor Box, basically a Telephone Network Interface which Pac Bell Attaches to the side of peoples houses, which your phone line exists through. And I found some neato employee codes. So in the following PUBLIC NOTICE, you will learn about all of these neat things I found and how to have fun with my ideas, but of course this information is for entertainment purposes only, I take no responsibility for any thing you do with it. -/- The Pac Bell Siecor Box -/- (The following information is word for word off the paper) CAC 7600 Telephone Nework Interface Installation Guide Siecor Recommended Procedure SRP-2050249 Issue 4 July 1995 Table of Contents 1. The unit houses up to 6 test jacks which are used to determine if faults are in subscriber or telephone company wiring. The unit will also house station protection, half ringers, and other electronic modules. 1.2 The document is reissued to illustrate a new subscriber bridge used in this product. |---------------------------------------------------| Individual | || ____ | Locking ---|--> Empty Space in here for || \ | Door | Extra wire to be stuffed || O | <--Telco (optional) | || ____/ | OVERRIDE |--------------------------------------|| | | || O <--Subsriber | All the electronical /--\ Access Screw | stuff and the modular phone \__/ <-------PLUG | Jacks. || | | || /--\ | |______________________________________||____\__/_<-|PADLOCK HOLE 2. MOUNTING 2.1 Location. Choose a vertical surface near approved ground but away from down spouts(rain gutters), permanet water sprinklers, or other water sources. The subscriber should have easy access to the unit for testing. 2.2 Surface Mounting. Use the external mounting ears for mounting. Make sure the unit is square to prevent warping. Use washers as shims to square the unit on uneven surfaces. 2.3 Conduit Mounting Units can be mounted on vertical conduit with metal strips wrapped around the mounting ears. Mount the unit only in a vertical position to prevent water from entering. 2.4 Back Plate. Mounting Knockouts are available on the back plate. Four are behind the lowest subscriber bridge. Simply punch them out with a screwdriver. 3. ACCESS 3.1 Opening the Unit. The unit's outside door is held shut with a snap lock and slotted screw. Customer padlocks can be defeated with a standard telephone company KS,216B or robertson tool. The same tool will open the inside protector compartment door. 3.2 Electronics Placement. Kits are available for electronic board and MTU field installations. 3.3 Individual Locking Door. To remove the individual locking door on the jack module, open it all the way and lift out. 4. PROTECTOR INSTALLATION 4.1 Protectors are mounted veritcally (125 style protector) or horizontally (350 style protector) depending on the position of the protector adapter. Install the adapter in the proper position for the protector you are installing and wire in the usual way. 5. TELEPHONE COMPANY WIRING 5.1 Grommet Preparation. Remove the left hand grommet and punch a small hole in the center of it with a pencil point. Do not use a knift to cut the grommet. Doing so may create to large an opening allowing moisture into the unit. Do not break through the edge of the grommet. Doing so may compromise the grommet's holding ability. 5.2 Wiring. Thread wire through the grommet and connect to the protectors. Press the grommet back into its slot. 6. CUSTOMER WIRING 6.1 See inside door for customer wiring instructions. OVERRIDE 7. PADLOCK HOLE PLUG 7.1 Plug Location. The plug is bagged and placed in the telco compartment. 7.2 Override Access. Use a slotted screw driver to loosen the customer access screw and open the door to reveal the override as shown in figure 1. Insert the plug into the padlock hole and press until the top is flush with the override. Close door and secure the customer screw. So you kinda know what your dealing with. But don't fuck with it because you may mess up your phone line. After you think you know what your doing, you go do this. Go to a neighbor's house who is gone on vacation. Go on the side of their house. You now have several options at your finger tips: 1. You could jack into their modular jack an call anywhere you please. Call friends back east, porn, whatever you like to do. Crank call some people in china. 2. Bring your computer over, (only if there gone for a couple of days) and download shit as much as you want. Put a board up for a week and let people d/l everything. 3. Or you could disconnect their phone line. There are several ways of doing this. You could poor water all over the inside of the box and fry their line,(piss on it) or you could just disconnect the modular jack relay in the box, which can be fixed by the person of the house. Or you could follow directions from part 3 ACCESS and part 7 OVERRIDE and disconnect their phone line permanetly, which only a Bell technician would be able to repair. Section 3.1 explains what tools to use in the process of accessing the telco part. 4. Sweet, I just thought of this all of sudden. You could go buy a portable phone. Connect it to the modular jack in the box with a phone splitter, so it keeps the modular relay intact and bury the phone in a waterproof bag. Now you take the phone with you accross. The street and utilize their phone line as you please from your house. Well whatever you decide to do, have fun and be careful. -/- Employee Codes -/- This is information found while trashing.
