========================================================================= || The Hack Report || Notes on the for March, 1993 || March, 1993 Issue || ========================================================================= This month, there is a new file in the archive of The Hack Report. This file, FILETSTS.LZH, contains the full text of reports on file tests performed by Jeff White and Bill Logan of The Pueblo Group in Tuscon, Arizona, and by other folks who have sent in complete test reports. Please do not convert this archive to a different format - if you do, you'll change the CRC of the file and invalidate the file security. On this note, the program used to calculate the CRCs for the important files in the archive has changed. I am now using Raymond T. Kaya' CRC.EXE, version 1.20. This is a freeware program, and is available on CompuServe and other systems under the filename CRC120.*. Also, the list of conferences/networks where The Hack Report is posted has been moved to the file NET????.SRC. Finally, The Hack Report is now available via ftp from SIMTEL-20. See the file SIMTEL20.SRC for details. Lee Jackson, Co-Moderator, FidoNet International Echo SHAREWRE, and Moderator, FidoNet Echo WARNINGS (1:382/95)
