Г     The pictures and  sounds  on  your TV  are carried there by signals.    Г
Г     Each signal travels down it's own path, or channel.  A notch filter     Г
Г     is used to  block  the  path  of an unwanted signal.  This prevents     Г
Г     the  signal  from  delivering  its  information  to  our TV screen.     Г
Г     The  filter  acts  as  sort  of  an  "Electronic Roadblock"  to the     Г
Г     unwanted signal, while allowing all others to pass freely.              Г
