Alex is the VP of a major cosmetics company.  She is ambitious
and ruthless.  Greg, her assistant, is desperately in love with
her and would do most anything for her.  Alex knows this and
although she has no feelings toward Greg she knows she's in
complete control of him.  Susan Grey, Alex's friend, is the head
chemist at a rival cosmetics company.  Susan confides in Alex
about her new invention which completely reverses the signs of
aging.  Its a cream that will make the company billions of
dollars.  Alex fumes and orders Greg to get a sample of the cream
and photograph the formula then destroy them both by lighting the
whole building on fire.  The scene takes place after the crime
has been committed.  Greg went to Susan to comfort her and comes
back to Alex's office to report.  Alex is sitting at her desk as
Greg rushes in nervously.

(Alex looks up from her paperwork)

Alex (calmly): Did you do it?

(Greg walks to the chair, sits.)

Greg (abruptly): Shh!!

Alex (sharply): We can't be heard here.

Greg (apologizing): We must be careful.

Alex: Do you think she suspects?

Greg (gets up and paces): I don't think so but I can't be sure.

Alex (smiling evilly): She's very trusting. I think were all
right.

Greg (sits): That's why I feel so bad. She trusts us and then we
go and do this. It seems awfully cruel somehow.

Alex (annoyed): You agreed we do it, didn't you?

Greg (whimpering): Yes but that was then and now I feel...I feel
sick to my stomach.

Alex (stands and paces): Control yourself! I feel bad myself, but
you don't see me crying about it.

Greg: You're stronger than I am about these things.

(Alex stands over him, pointing her finger)

Alex: If you foul me up on this I swear I'll kill you.

(Greg still sits in the chair nervously while Alex paces)

Greg (lighting her cigarette): I won't foul up.

Alex (calming down): Have you destroyed the evidence?

Greg: Yes, it's all gone.

Alex(sits): Then we should be alright. Who'd suspect us?

Greg(cautiously): We still have to be careful.

Alex (nodding her head): We'll be careful.
