This is a program that I wrote using Turbo Pascal 7.0. The source code
is public domain. I do however want you to contact me if you like/hate
this program or if you have any questions pertaining to it. You can reach
me on Digital Decay as Slack or Email me at CRamsey@Pacifica.cerf.fred.org.
Although my address goes through a very slow exchange. I am not much for
notating my work. So some of it may seem sloppy. I am much more concerned
about it working than how the source code looks.

ANSICHAT.ZIP contains the following files :

    CHAT.EXE : The executable.
CHAT.PAS : The Turbo Pascal Source Code.
CHAT.TXT : Hey, your reading it right now.
LIST.EXE : A DOS program to look at text files.
    LINES.EXE : A DOS screen saving program.

After you run chat the first time it will automaticly create CHAT.CFG.
If you want to change your with out entering the program first you can either
delete CHAT.CFG of type CHAT S. These will both cause it to run setup before
starting ANSI Chat.

Do not run ANSI Chat unless you are connected another computer through the
right CommPort to a modem or Null-Modem Cable. It will cause it to hang or
crash. Also make sure you don't assign ANSI Chat's port to the mouse or other
periphrials. You may damage your mouse. Also, if you don't have a 16550uart
this program will not run faster than 9600bps. 9600 is plenty fast for just
chatting if your computer is fast enough.

That's about it. Have fun, and if you have any comments or a project that
you might need a little help with contact me.

               See-Ya,
                 Slack.
