                                ** AUTO-SECONDS **

   "Auto-Seconds" is a term used to describe the second move of a combo
and how it relates to the first.  KI Auto-Seconds apply to jump-in
combination moves.  Looking at the layout of the controls, the Auto-
Second will correspond as the arrows indicate.  Depending upon which
button you press as part of your first move (it can be any of the six), 
the arrow shows you what button the second part of the combo should use.
Now, you don't have to follow this rule, but if you want to get into
the realm of 6 to 8 hit jump-in combos, you need to subscribe to this theory.
        When you follow the Auto-Seconds theory with jump-in moves, you'll
score bonus or "free" hits with your second move.  With a second move
other than an Auto-Second, you won't score as many hits.  Of course, you
will have to finish up the combination!

                            ** ULTIMATE COMBOS **

   There are things called "Ultimate" combos.  They are just like regular
combos except that at the end, it fatalities your opponent.  These MUST
be done when your opponent has NO life and you are in the middle of a
combo.

   So ya' tired of people getting 4, 6, 8, even more hits off of you right?
Well you can get out of those nasty combos with something called a Combo
Breaker......if you are good enough.

  You can also use the background you are fighting in to finish off your
opponent.  Fighting on a bridge...why not throw them off?  Fighting on 
top of a building....why not throw them off and make them smash into a car
on the ground?

                       *** STAGE AND MUSIC SELECT ***
  The first person to select his or her character controls the stage select
by pressing down on the joystick and any button.  The other player can then 
select the AWESOME Techno music the same way.  Either player can choose the 
corresponding soundtrack.

                          *** RANDOM SELECT ***
  Can't decide which character to choose?  Just let the computer select for
you!  At the character selection screen, just hold up on the joystick, and
press the START button.

                            *** COME BACK! ***
   It is not over until you drop!  There is still a chance you can come back
to battle....even at the end!

                     -=- Killer Instinct Pictures -=-
  Well, I was able to get my hands on a black and white scanner, so I was
able to scan some pictures of the characters in Killer Intinct.  Yes, they
look terrable because they are only two colors...black and white, but hey, 
it is better than nothing!  They are in self executing files, so just type
in the name of the file, and wala!  I just thought a self executing file 
would be the most convienent.  As soon as my friends color scanner gets
fixed, I will have for you beautiful color pictures of your favorite 
characters.  Just be content with the black and white ones now.  
Black and White is terrable!

              =-=-=-= Prepare Yourself for the Ultra-64 =-=-=-=
  
   All that is done in Killer Instinct and Crusing USA is all thanks to
the Ultra-64 made only by Nintendo.  It is a coalition with Nintendo
and SGI (Silicon Graphics Incorporated) to make a true 64 bit system
that could process silicon graphics in real time.  SGI is responsible
for the special effects as seen in "T-2", "The Abyss", and "Jurassic Park".
The Ultra-64 is a true 64 bit system that can do real-time Silicon
Graphics, and is running at a stunning 500MHz!
        The home system will be out fall 95.  Now, the home system will
be MORE POWERFUL than the arcade so you don't get any "almost like the    
arcade" games.  You WILL get EXACTLY what the arcade does and more.
And it will be brought to you for around $250.  And how can they do this?
Well, mass production, and high sales will do it.  Silicon Graphics in 
real time, and EXACT arcade translations will sell!
        The system will be cartridge based but it will use new types of
cartridges that will be able to hold 800 Mega bytes of ROM UNCOMPRESSED. 
It will not be CD based because CD-ROM technology is not that good.  A typical
CD can only hold 640MB of information, and the Ultra-64 cartridges hold more
than that!  But a CD-ROM unit is in plans as soon as CD-ROM technology
is better than it is now.  CD-ROM technology is VERY slow, and expensive
to make the systems.  ROM is a million times faster than the fastest CD-ROM
unit out there.
        Games like Killer Instinct will ONLY appear for the Ultra-64.  It
will NOT be found on Sega, Jaguar, 3DO, CD-I or any other system.  This 
is because of the MASS amounts of computing power that only the Ultra-64
can do.  Hey, we are talking REAL TIME silicon graphics!  No other system 
or company can do what Nintendo has already done now.
        Typical games use frame-by frame animation that is limited to what
the actors can do (MK & MK2), but games that use silicon graphics have 
characters that are all computer rendered.  This means you can make the
video game character do anything to want him to do, any body position.  This
is called Advanced Computer Modeling (ACM).  Donkey Kong Country already
uses this on a small scale.  No other video games except for Killer Instinct
and Donkey Kong Country do this.
        Other games currently in the works for the Ultra-64 are "Mortal
Kombat 3" and a special version of "Doom".  This special version of
Doom will ONLY be available for the Ultra-64 and will be doing things never
before seen in any Doom game format.  And you guys just try to wait for
Mortal Kombat 3 on the Ultra-64!
        So save your money (except for the quarters for Killer Instinct), 
don't buy any other system yet, because the Ultra-64 will be out before
you know it!  Nothing can or will compare!
