AdvanTeq Professional TENS Package
The two channel Advanteq TENS is specifically designed to make drug free relief a practical option in pain therapy. Weighing just five ounces, the clip on device can be comfortably worn during the patient's daily activities.
Available in two versions, the basic Advanteq I package offers a wide variety of treatment parameters including Pulse Duration (Width), Pulse Rate and individual channel intensity. The dual transformer design limits cross channel interference to a minimum.
With the Advanteq II version, you can also add in burst stimulation or modulation for more complex patient needs. A detailed manual offers additional suggestions for protocols.
Either package includes everything the patient needs for immediate use. Two packages of our Teq-Trode multiple use electrodes. Heavy duty electrode cords, power supply and manual, all of which fit comfortably within the carrying case. A five year warranty is standard.
Power
is supplied by either standard 9 volt batteries (included in the package)
or the package can be purchased with our Ni-Cad Rechargeable option which
includes two Nickle-Cadmium Batteries and a UL Listed battery charger. The
Nicad Option allows the patient to use one battery while the other battery
is charging.
Designed, assembled and individually tested here in Thousand Oaks, California, the AdvanTeq TENS series meets all known guidelines for reimbursement eligibility (when available) by both government and private third party payers including the 5/20/86 ANSI Standard for TENS. Please refer to the individual organizations for their specific policies concerning TENS reimbursement as they may differ from organization to organization.

TENS devices are restricted to sale by or on the order (Rx) of a licensed practitioner (FDA Class II).
TENS is symptomatic treatment and as such may suppress the sensation of pain that would otherwise serve as a protective mechanism on the outcome of a clinical process.
TENS devices should not be used with any patient with a history of cardiac problems.
Do not stimulate over the eyes, carotid sinus, over the laryngeal muscles or through the brain.
The effects of long term electrical TENS on fetuses is not known and should therefore be avoided during pregnancy.
Treatment outcome may be affected by the use of drugs or the patient's psychological state.
Patients should avoid operating heavy machinery or hazardous equipment while receiving TENS therapy.
