Anyone who is interested in Russia, the USSR, or its successor, the
Commonwealth of Independent States and who can use citations to the
literature about them now has access to our database, RUSSGUS. It lists
German language publications that have any bearing at all on
Russia/USSR/CIS.  Within that framework there are no thematic
restrictions, and all types of publications (monographs, collections of
essays, periodical and newspaper articles, reviews, even dissertations)
are cited. The database currently holds over 100,000 citations and is
constantly being enlarged. It uses the database software NDM and can
thus be searched effectively from many different access points.
