I'm seeking information on the FURMAN families of Michigan.
A brother, Benjamin FURMAN, of my g-g-grandfather received
160 acres of land in Dover Co. Michigan as payment for his
service in the war of 1812. This he sold to two of his
brothers, Robert and Oliver FURMAN. They moved to Michigan
in 1836.

     Robert FURMAN
     b. 1802 Rockland Co.,N.Y.
     m. 1823 Jane DUSENBERRY
     d. 1868 Dover, Michigan
     Children: Elizabeth,Walter, Ella,Dusenberry John, Mary,Asa

     Oliver FURMAN
     b. 1797 Rockland Co.,N.Y.
     m. Elizabeth TREADWAY
     d. 1882

If anyone has information about these families I would like to
hear from you. I have quite a bit of information on the branch
of the family that remained in New York.
