            -------------------------------
I have been able to collect alot of data on the family of Thomas
FAIRCHILD from Stratford, Connecticut and his descendants. If you
have any FAIRCHILD lines I'd like to share what I have with you and
others reaching FAIRCHILD. If this is your line I'll throw in some
alittle of what is setting in front of me.

Thomas FAIRCHILD B. Laver, Esses, England ca 1612. Came from
Barnstaple, Devonshire, England to Stratford, Fairfield Co., Ct. in
1639. He was elected deputy to the General Court in 1654 and several
times thereafter, was four times nominated for Assistant Governor,
and served on various public committees. He was a Commissioner for
Stratford,1664 and 1666-78. He was a merchant, and owned a house on
what is now Elm Street, Bridgeport, Connecticut.

I hope all researchers of this line will respond and share what they
have. As there are many error's in the branches off the FAIRCHILD
lines that I would like to clear up.
