Hate that annoying modem noise? But want to hear whether or
not it is ringing? Well then try this:

ATLn

"n" stands for the volume:
	0 or 1 Low
	2 Medium
	3 High (Default)

this is the volume when the speaker is on. To change when the speaker
is on try this:

ATMn

"n" stands for one of the following variables:
	0 Speaker always off
1	Speaker on until Carrier detect (Default)
	2 Speaker always on
3 Speaker on after dialing until carrier detect.

For those of you who run BBS you may want to add this line to the end
of your INIT string:

ATM

This tells the modem to always be quiet and really is nice for running
a BBS but is really annoying for some com programs (Like TELIX) that don't
accurately detect busy signals because you can't tell wether its ringing or
busy. The best setup is this for when you call a BBS:

ATL1
ATM3

	Happy Trails!
