Hello! GWB-2-QB is free-ware (no charge). If you can make use of it, great!
If you know anyone else who can use it, give them a copy. Please make sure
that they get GWB-2-QB.EXE, GWB-2-QB.OBJ, and READ-ME.TXT or the GWB-2-QB.ZIP
file that contains the first 3 mentioned files.

What does GWB-2-QB do? It takes a GW-BASIC program that is saved in an ASCII
format and eliminates line numbers from the front of those lines not called on
by certain GW-BASIC statements (GWB-2-QB will give details and instructions
when run). Why would you want to do this? I'll answer that with the reason
that I created GWB-2-QB. I was too lazy or too busy at the time to learn all
the in's and out's of Microsoft QuickBASIC. I wrote my programs in GW-BASIC,
"manually" searched out and deleted unneeded line numbers, and then loaded it
into MS-QuickBASIC where I could save it, run it, or compile it. You really
don't need to delete unneeded line numbers to run a GW-BASIC ASCII program
with MS-QuickBASIC, but it does make for a more compact and efficient file.

If you like it or run into any problems with it, send a note to:

This will also get you on my mailing list for future "home-ware" I'm working
on. And thank you very much for your interest. Really!
