Once in the Layo1 editor:
Ŀ
Recent updates are in the "F1" HELPSCREENS
available ON the menu-lines, that is
BEFORE YOU TYPE ENTER ON THE LINE.
These infos REPLACE some texts in C:\LAYODOC\MANUEL.

The command "LAYO1" to run LAYO1 is now LAYO1E,
					     LAYO1E /c (open template)

Open the popmenu: ESC and F1 on the lines.

Load existing circuit LAYO1E CNF\nnnn.CNF ( nnnn = any name
					             you'll find in \CNF\ )

Load new circuit LAYO1E CNF\nnnn.CNF (nnnn = any name
					                     you want)

LOADING WITH "CNF\nnnn" ONLY if you intend to create/use component-list CMP,
					netlist NET and eventually autorouting.
if not and you
want to work manually:	just t for draw, s for pads and F3 to load components
on an empty screen immediately after loading with
			LAYO1E.
Place corners and save as a simple module LMC with F4.
In this simple mode "Edit Netlist" will not work.

After loading on your harddiskPLEASE PRINT ALL FILES IN C:\LAYO1EE\LAYODOC

Ŀ
Important note concerning \LIB\*.LIB, these files are added for your
convenience. But you MUST create always your own LIB. Place your LIB
on top in in the template in MENU UTILISATEUR LIBRAIRIES.
While creating you may copy blocks from the exemple libraries to avoid
bunches of typing work but check every character.
(You may try however the existing LIBs but you risk "Not found")

In the graphic mode after loading a CNF (Dos command or Popmenu: New
design, it is possible to create a *.CMP with F3. However in MANUAL
MODE in LIB-files, F3 can only read the first 1000 componentnames.

If you prepare a xxx.CMP (component-list) and place it in \CNFnn\
Layo will place all components automatically on screen after the Dos
   command: LAYO1E CNFnn\xxx.CNF
In that case the correct LIB must be available and the name typed in
       Menu User Libraris.

In TRACEURS.EXE, -means PLOTTERS in french-, type immediately F5 to display the
nice exemple which is already on the first line: C:\LAYO1EE\CNF\DEMO_SMD
If you use another harddisk change C: in D: etc., next F5.

GERBER OUTPUT: The file C:\LAYO1EE\GERBER.DAT (input) CAN BE MODIFIED
                     BUT ONLY THE COLUMN "mills".
THE GERBER CONFIGURATION IN 'TRACEURS.EXE' WILL USE YOUR CHANGEMENTS.

Again: Use F1 regulary on the pop-menu-lines before typing Enter.

KILLDIR
