* Here is an extract of the licence agreement for distribution:

The Satellite's Encyclopedia must be copied in an unmodified form and must
contain all the files required for an automatic installation. No fee, charge
or other compensation may be accepted or requested by anyone without my
  express written permission.

Public Domain disk vendors may not charge a fee for The Satellite's
Encyclopedia itself. However you may include The Satellite's Encyclopedia on
a diskette or CD-ROM for which you charge a nominal distribution fee. If it
is included on a CD-ROM you must send me a free copy of this CD-ROM. The
purchaser of said media must be informed in advance that the fee paid to
acquire the diskette does not relieve said purchaser from paying the
registration fee for The Satellite's Encyclopedia if said purchaser uses The
  Satellite's Encyclopedia.

Operators of electronic Bulletin Board Systems (sysops) may post The
Satellite's Encyclopedia for downloading by their users without written
permission only as long as the above conditions are met. A fee may be charged
for access to the BBS as long as no specific fee is charged for downloading
The Satellite's Encyclopedia files without first obtaining express written
permission from myself to charge such a fee. This also goes for INTERNET and
COMPUSERVE; OTHER ONLINE SERVICES MUST APPLY FOR AUTHORIZATION. As far as
the French Minitel is concerned, operators are _NOT_ allowed to offer
  downloading of The Satellite's Encyclopedia.

(you will find the complete licence agreement in the encyclopedia)
