You 'MUST' change to the directory where shell.exe is
installed and run program through GO.BAT in order to have
Gitano's Fonts and Colors load and unload properly. Typing
Shell directly will not load Gitano's Fonts and Colors and
     program appearance will be unpleasant.

The .APP, CPY's, and source are provided. It will demonstrate
pulldowns, Exit to dos screen, Changing Colors and fonts, and
an about screen with a scrolling string in the center of the
screen that you can change, i.e, gray +, gray - for faster or
     slower.

This program uses Clarion 2.1 patch 2110, Mike Hanson's
SuperModels, and Gitano's Fonts and Colors. I use the shell
as a starting point to save some time.

Gitano's (fonts and colors) are a must, giving Shell/Clarion
that professional look. If an applications first appearance
will not impress me than how can I expect it to impress
     others.

The source for the About Screen is included (about.cla). It
was provided be Nick Van Eidijk on the CompuServe Clarion
Forum when I was trying to incorporate an about screen that
would also allow a string to scroll when the screen was
opened. look at (about.cla) for more information on what and
how it was done. Nick can be reached at 71613,544

Nick Van Eidijk has been great, provided working 'examples' to
the questions I have asked, and has even replied back with a
better way to do the original examples on his own. I can only
wish that I had his knowledge of Clarion 2.1 and programming
     in general.

Douglas Smith, of Smith Management (SMIC) for his help and
patience. A true Clarion believer, that at times has keep me
going when I was ready to give up on Clarion.

I am active duty military with 18 years in the Navy, stationed
in Virginia, Hampton Roads, area. I'm a serious hobbyist at
present, with plans to take some programming classes after I
retire from the military, what is unknown at this time, and
there are no classes that directly relate to clarion.

     I use Clarion 2.1, LPM 2.53, and CFD 3101. I would appreciate
any ideas, and comments. If you have any example .APP's that
deal with Clarion 2.1, and LPM 2.53 it would be greatly
appreciated. Seeing how someone else has done things can make
the learning curve in Clarion/LPM a little easier. As for LPM
I have seen nothing in the way of examples.

I can be reached on CIM at 73004,2371, or on the Internet at

     Thanks, Jerry L. Raymond
