International List of Aviation Museums

International List of Aviation Museums

Last Updated June 13, 1995

Here's the latest List of Aviation Museums. It is provided free of charge,
and may be distributed freely, as long as there is no charge for said
distribution.

Question: should this be posted to rec.aviation.military, rec.aviation.misc
or both? The majority of the museums listed below are primarily or only
military museums. Send me an email with your vote. Note that I plan to post
a notice in whichever group I don't post the list to, if any, and to
sci.military.moderated.

This list is posted four times a year: Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Labor
Day and Veterans Day. This one is a little late for Memorial Day.

Last updated: 6/13/95

The list is generally in the following format:

COUNTRY
State, Province, Region, etc.
City
Museum name and location
Museum phone number
Hours open
Aircraft
Highlights

As you will see, I don't have all the information for all the places,
and I am always interested in reports of visits to these places, so
please EMAIL any reports, additions, corrections or updates to:

jpoutre@lehman.com

Disclaimer:
This list is based on a list created by Bill Standerfer.
If you're out there Bill, thanks.
Also, be warned that this list is very long.
