QuMa (pronounced kyoo-muh) is a utility for creating maps for use with the game Quake.

Features include:
    -Easy to learn interface 
          Standard Windows 95 user interface 
          Context menus specific to the active window 
          Toolbars for common functions 
    -Load/Save .MAP files 
    -3D camera view 
          uses Direct3D for hardware acceleration 
          with/without lighting 
          wireframe/solid block 
          acts like pov games (moving , turning) 
    -top down & side 2D views 
    -resizable snap to grid 
    -cut, copy and paste (in same or different maps) 
    -simple entity selection/creation/modification 
          intelligent flags (shows proper flags avaliable depending on the type of entity) 
    -Simple entity tagging for creating triggers and targets (e.g. buttons, doors, & platforms) 
    -Brush operations: 
          clipping to an arbitray plane 
          subtracting from other brushes (make holes in walls, etc.) 
          arbitrary scaling & rotation 
    -support for stand alone brush files (for saving a structure by itself for later use) 
    -extendable entity list (in case you have your own quake-c entities to add) 
    -texture browser 
    -easy instant stairs

Requirements:
     Windows95 with DirectX 2 (DirectX 2 installer available from the QuMa home page)
     Wad2 files with quake palettes
     QBsp, Light, Vis (map building utilities from id software)
     Registered Copy of Quake (if you want to play the maps)
Installation:
     Just unzip the quma10.zip file into a directory of its own and double click on the quma.exe
file to run it.  See the Readme files for help on making maps.
