Title : "The Cinema of Death" (The others are just
graphic and sound pwads which I put seperate
if you just wanted to play with the graphics
                          or sound alone,etc...)

Misc. Author Info : I am 14 years old and this is my first pwad. I got
this new Gateway 2000 computer in December of 95.
I live also in a small town and hope to make some
more pwads, although not as big as this one.

Description : This massive wad has many cool suprises, new graphics, textures, and host of great sounds and music. I used sound effects from the Star Wars Trilogy, Stardoom, and some ideas. The cross bow that replaces the BFG-9000,which we all know
what it stands for,was taken from Heretic and redone to be or at least try to be similiar
Chewbacca's in case you didn't notice. I also
scanned some of my other favorite video games and
scanned them to be theatre posters on the wall.
A lot of the sounds with the exception of the players death sound which was recorded off of the Mortal Kombat 3 CD-ROM,because I love that sound!,
came off of the stardoom wad. Some of the others were recorded off the Star Wars Trilogy with my Magnavox Radio\Cassette Recorder, then I used a line from the headphone jack into the line-in port on my Soundblaster PnP 16 Sound Card to get the sounds into my computer to save them as Wave files. At first I did the same thing except I
tried to play the sounds off tape into the microphone, but it sounded just too damn scratchy!
Then I gave up hope on this until I remembered the
line in my dad's drawer. After testing it to see
if it would transmit sound, and it did an excellent job, I knew I could have a whole lot
better sound quality. Note that I listed every
editor, hardware and even the operating systems
I used, which may have been stupid but I felt a
need to type and to plug the quality of Gateway 2000, Microsoft, and especially Windows 95 and
DOS 7.0 because of how great they truly are.
                          HOPE YOU ENJOY IT!!!!!!!!!

Additional Credits to : all the other great wad designers and programmers
that inspired me to learn how to create great
wads and allowed me to use graphics and sprites
such as Justin Fisher and Steve McCrea, and
whoever the hell created Stardoom! I love those
damn graphics and sounds! I also thank Gateway
2000, Microsoft, Sams Publishing for making a
great book, "Tricks of the Doom Gurus", on how
to build wads, which only costed me $15 because
of a $15 discount I got for getting my card
punched for the last time because of buying a
$15 dollar Heretic strategy guide just to get
the codes because I didn't yet have internet
access, all the D!ZONE products, the Internet,
George Lucas and Lucas Films for making my all
time favorite movies which me and everyone else
could get some great ideas from, all of the
other software companies whose products I used,
and most, most importantly my parents for
buying my computer and all the peripherals.

Known Bugs : There are no visible errors in this stage at all,
except maybe a few slime trails in the big room with the Snake Steps and some rooms may be a bit slower then others because of their size. I had
a few early problems with some HOM, visplanes, and map plane errors, but I think that they should be
fixed. If you do run across any errors apologize,
even though it isn't my fault because I used the
best Node Builder,WARM v1.6,and Reject Builder,
RMB v2.1, nor is it their programmers fault.

directory, simply type, "install", and hit enter.
After the installation is complete simply type,
"cinema", and you will play some bad assed wads!!!

Conclusion : I was forced to switch to DKC in the final steps
of building my level because of its terrible
memory restraints which caused it not to load up
the wad. I was fortunate though because DKC was
a very powerful tool, even more powerful than
EdMap, except for when months of work was almost
destroyed forever when it kept crashing and
destroying the texture mapping in my wad, but
luckily I had it set to make a backup copy in
case of a tradgedy like this ever happened. I
then remembered something on the H!ZONE CD called
the DKC-Fix. I installed it and it did'nt
entirely fix the crashing problem but it did fix
the texture mapping from messing up. I found
that it crashes the most when you pick the
textures or flats very fast. I just wanted to
point out these issues to first time wad
designers. Oh, I forgot to say that the reject
map build time was about 6 1/2 hours! This was
because I did a perfect build.

levels, feel free to use any of my ideas, graphics, textures,
or sound and music. I grant this permission because I'm not
an uptight moron who thinks that there pwads are so awesome
that they can't even be touched by anyone except them, besides
even if someone said that you could'nt use their levels to build
additional ones, how would they stop you? Well in the words of
Coolio,"I guess they can't, I guess they won't, I guess they
front", whatever that means.
