This document describes each problem associated with having backup
domain controllers configured on your network, the modules that are
fixed and their locations. It is recommended that you rename the existing
modules before applying the fix. You may have to shutdown the system
and bring it back up without restarting server code or logging on so
that these modules do not be come locked open. Booting from your
advanced hpfs386 boot diskettes may be required if local security is
installed.

ROBLEM SUMMARY
In a domain with an LS/3.0 DC and an LS/3.0
backup server, if a USER or ADMIN ID logs on to an LS/3.0
requester he will not get his PUBLIC APPLICATIONS FOLDER or
LOGON ASSIGNMENTS.

Modules changed: XSLN.EXE and LANSRV.DRV. Additionally,
WINDLR.DLL is required do to dependencies between XSLN.EXE and
WINDLR.DLL. Fix is only for DLR R300.

LOGON ASSIGNMENTS FAIL WHEN LOGON IS SERVICED BY BACKUP
DOMAIN CONTROLLER.
PROBLEM SUMMARY:
Read the DCDB information locally if it has been replicated. The
alias information was always being read from the DC on the
backup server. This has been corrected.
PROBLEM CONCLUSION: Fixed in next available corrective service
for LS 3.0.
TEMPORARY FIX: LRRS.DLL and LRSD.DLL applied to backup server

IC05535
ON BACKUP HPFS386 SERVERS DCDB REPLICATOR WILL NOT CREATE
THE ACP FOR THE DCDB TREE.
PROBLEM SUMMARY: On HPFS386 file systems, when the DCDB tree is
on a HPFS drive, the DCDB Replicator will not create the ACP's
for the new directories. This can cause users to not receive
their logon assignments.
MODULES/MACROS: DBDCIMP.EXE replaced at backup DC in ibmlan\services
subdirectory.
