                         Disk Generation Process

These instructions describe how to generate a diskette from the
enclosed "filename.DSK" file. Diskettes are distributed in this
manner when they cannot be re-created using the individual files
on the disk. This can occur when:

  o The diskette does not have an MS-DOS FAT file structure.
  o some files are hidden or are not MS-DOS compatible.
  o The versions of all of the software must be tightly
     controlled to ensure compatibility.

What should have been received:
===============================

This electronic distribution package should contain:

     Readme         This instruction text file.

     Copydisk.exe The disk generation utility. This file
                    should be 21455 bytes long and be time
                    stamped 9/4/91 at 3:44 p.m..

     filename.DSK The disk image file used by Copydisk to
                    generate the diskette.

     filename.TXT Information for the diskette label.

What is needed:
===============

1.44 MB, 3.5" diskette - MS-DOS formatted.

Procedure:
===========

Note: This procedure ONLY generates 1.44 MB, 3.5" diskettes.
          Do not attempt to use this procedure to generate 1.2
          MB, 5.25" diskettes.

          This procedure assumes that A:\ is the 1.44 MB, 3.5"
          diskette drive. If the A:\ drive is a 1.2 MB, 5.25"
          drive and the 1.44 MB, 3.5" drive is B:\, change the
          command line in step two. This procedure will not work
          with diskette drives higher than B:\.

1.   Insert a formatted 1.44MB, 3.5" diskette into drive A:.

     (See caution above)

2. Run the COPYDISK utility to extract the contents of the disk
     image file into the floppy disk:

          COPYDISK X:\path\filename.DSK A:

     Where X:\ is the drive where the filename.DSK resides and
     PATH\ is the path to the file.

     B: can be substituted for A: when it is the 1.44 MB, 3.5"
     diskette drive.

3. Label the diskette using the information from the
     filename.TXT file.
