How to Creat Tissue Roses

Facial Tissue in color desired for flowers

Unfold tissue and fold in half in opposit direction of
oirginal folds.

Starting at narrow edge, pleat in 1/2 inch accordion
pleats.

Wind a small rubber band tightly at center to hold
pleat in place.

To make scalloped, ragged edges on petals tear off
folded edges OR use pinking shears.

Shape the flower by seperating EACH single layer
of tissue all the way down to the rubber band.

Fluff and shape each layer, working always all around the
flower from the outside to the inside.

To add a realiztic touch, tuck a sprig of leaf or green in
the rubber band.
