
       How to Professional Hang a Floor to Ceiling Picture Grouping

Materials: Tape measure; framed pictures; pencil; picture
hooks; hammer; carpenters level.


Step 1: For additional impact, hang the floor-to-ceiling grouping on a wall
framed by surrounding architecte, or use a piece of furniture to ground the
arrangement and add to the subjecy. It's safest not to hang pictutes too
close to the floor, where they could be easily bumped and damaged.

Step 2:
Select a wall with a natural "frame", one seen through a doorway, for exam-
ple, or at the end of a hall or the top of a flight of stairs. Measure the
space and, to help achieve a pleasing composition, arrange the pictures on
the floor to fit into the height and 'width of the space.

Step 3:
Carefully measure the pieces on the floor and the spaces between them and
mark wall accordingly, being sure to indicate the proper locations of
picture hooks.

Step 4:
Hang pictures; check evenness with carpenter's level and adjust as needed.


