
    Herbs and Their Properties For the Home Spa


(NOTE: Bubble bath LOOK relaxing and fun, however, soap is an irratant
       and dehydrates the skin resulting in feeling uncomfortable. When
       creating spa accessories avoid soaps.)

Basil:  Re-energizer, good for the memory. Steep like tea, add to tub.

Eucalyptus: For breathing disorders, colds. Purchase Oil of Eucalyptus
        and add 3 or 4 drops to tub water.

Juniper: Detoxifier. Gather late fall berries. Brew like tea. Add to tub.

Lavendar:  Relaxation. Dry and steep like tea, add to tub.

Milk:  Skin Softener. Add 3 cups of whole milk to tub full of water.

Fruits:  Purifiers, juice of 1 med. size fruit to tub.

Cucumbers: Use cut end for puffy eyes, puree and strain rest of cuke
         and use as a pH balanced facial toner.


