
   Peruvian Pottery Necklace and Earrings

Note: Numbers in paranthesis represent Westrim Crafts product style numbers.

Materials Needed:

1 med. YOU BEAD IT Lucite bead strand (23713)
1 lg.  YOU BEAD IT Lucite bead strand (23813)
2 2" Silver Head Pins (5821/3)
1 pr. Silver Fishohook Ear Wires (5250/3)
2 lg. Silver Bead Tips (5321/3)
1 12 mm Silver Lobster Claw Clasp (5630/3)
1 lg Silver Clasp Eye (5138/3)
25 " pc. Transite (896)
1 Beading Needle (897)

You will also need:
Jewelry Pliers (PC10 and PC92)
Scissors
Glue

Optional:
Bead Design Board (201)

Necklace Instructions:

1> Attach loop of lobster claw clasp to loops of one bead tip.
   Use pliers to secure.

2> Thread beading needle with 25" length of transite. Knot end a
   few times and set knot with a dab of glue. Insert through hole
   in bead tip from inside (illustration 1). Close bead tip with
   pliers.

3> Cut bead strands apart and discard string.

4> Arrange beads (see GIF) on the bead design board (if using) or
   a flat surface. String beads onto transite.

5> Insert end of transite through hole in remaining bead tip. Knot
   securely (as in step 2). Reinsert excess thread through hole in bead
   tip, then through a few beads to hide it.

6) Use pliers to attach bead tip to the clasp eye.

Earring Instructions:

1> String beads onto head pin as show (see GIF).

2> Using jewelry pliers, bend excess head pin to a right
   and (see ilustration 2). Make a loop with round nose
   pliers and include loop of earwire before closing
   completely.

3> Repeat for second earring.
