

    Doily Wreath

Materials:

1 pkg. 8" square doilies
12" grapevine wreath
2 1/2 yds. 1" wide ribbon
1 styrofoam ball
Curly hair
2" square of nylon stockings
1 yellow daidy spray
1 white bell flower spray
1 sweet william spray (choice of color)
8" x 3/4" satin ribbon
toothpick
wire
Hot glue gun

Instructions:

1. Keep 2 doiles together. Find the center of the doily and cut
   in 3" towards center.

2. Fan fold the bottom of the doily. Wire doily 3 inches from top.

3. Fold the doily down over the wire to form a cape. Glue the
   cape together in the back.

4. Place the styrofoam bakk in the nylon square, pull to the top
   and wire. Put a toothpick in the bottom.

5. Cut a 4" length of ribbon and cut a V on one end. Glue the
   ribbon down the front and back of the cape until the head
   touches the shoulder. Glue in place. Add a small bow at the neck
   with 3/4" ribbon.

6. Glue curly hair on the styrofoam ball. Cut a few small flowers
   off the spray and glue in the center of cape.

7. Cut 1 - 16" lengths of ribbon and trim the ends. Loop and glue
   them along the upper left of the wreath, follwoing the curve.
   Use remaining ribbon to make a puffy bow, with a center loop,
   two 2" loops, four 2 1/2" loops and no tails. Glue the now to
   the center of the loops.

8. Glue flowers to left side of wreath.

9. Take a single doily and fan fold from one point to another.
   Fold in half and glue under top portion of the bow.

10.Repeast step 9 and glue to bottom portion of bow.

11.Glue doll to opposite side of the wreath.

