Paint embroidery hoop red if desried.

For heart in 4 sizes. Cement colored paper
to both sides of bristol board. Then trans-
fer heart outlines with carbon paper. Cut
out pairs of hearts for the eleven shown.
Staple pairs together through center.
Score along same line and bend hearts
open.

For small decorative hearts, cut heart
shapes from flat end of a potato half. Dip
potato cutout in acrylic paint and transfer
to paper hearts for decorations. Add let-
ters for messages with stamp sets and
acrylics.

To hang hearts. tie three lines to hoop
as shown, balancing them evenly. Poke a
hole at top and bottom of seam of each
heart unit. Thread a line hanging from
hoop through holes of one heart. Slide
heart into position and cut line at bottom
of heart. leaving 1" end. Cut another length
of line, slide on a heart and temporarily
tape top of line to 2" end extending from
first heart. Continue in this manner, taping
hearts in position as shown, adjusting
length of line to balance mobile. When
mobile hangs correctly, remove one piece
of tape at a time and knot ends of line for
a more secure hold.
