How to Hang A Grouping of Pictures with Ribbon Accents

Materials:

Framed pictures, tape measure, pencil, ribbons, scissors,
3/4 inch nails, hammer, decorative bows, picture hooks,
carpenter's level.

Step 1:

For a grouping joined with ribbons, use the same or
extremely similiar frames and hang symetrically. To do this
place the frames on the floor in the configuration they will
take on the wall.

Measure the frames and the spaces between them, then mark the
proper location of the picture hooks.

Step 2:

Measure and cut ribbons into 4 strips; length for each should
equal the height of the linked framesplus extra inches for
exposed ribbon above, below and in between the frames.

Position pairs of strips on wall and tack in place approximately
an inch from where the bottom and top edges of each frame will
lie.

Step 3:

For top treatment, pull together and overlap each pair of ribbons
and tack to wall. Add bow and tack in place beneath
the folds of the bow so the nail doesn't show.

Step 4:

Hang picture hooks according to measurements marked in step 1.
Hang pictures, check for eveness with carpenter's level.
Trim bottoms of ribbons to points.
