To any of you who bought the Lavender & Lace "Angel of Mercy" chart...

My local cross stitch store received a copy of a note posted by
Marilyn Leavitt-Imblum (the designer) on Prodigy. Since it sounds
as if she wants the message to be passed along, I am going to post
a copy of it here.

"Dear Everyone, There is a teany tiny omission on
    The Angel of Mercy...
The wings are to be stitched in half stitches.
Use 2 strands of floss and one strand of 284Z.
If you could drop off a copy of this to your local store it
would make a lot of wings look better. I just want her to be
   perfect. XOX Marilyn"

The design itself is dedicated to the memory of Polly Klaas, the little
girl who was kidnapped from her home in Petaluma, CA.
Apparently, the designer was sketching the angel, when she heard
on CNN of the discovery of Polly's body. She added a child to
her picture. The child is wearing a simple nightgown, and is
reaching out to the angel. The two are almost ready to clasp hands.
