                           Where In Space Is
                            Carmen Sandiego?
                             Deluxe Edition

                             by Tony Curro

It was reported that the belt loops where stolen from the Asteroid
Belt. Another report just in said that Neil Armstrong's footprint
was stolen from the Moon. These are but two of the many items stolen
in space. Your job, as crimefighter for ACME (Intergalactic
Division), is to apprehend the criminal and return the stolen item.
Are you up to the task?

Strap yourself in you Cosmohopper 911 Turbo, the most sophisticated
surveillance craft, and track the thief to any of 32 locations in
the solar system. You will meet some strange looking creatures.

As you hop around in the solar system you gather clues. Enter these
into the VAL 9000, your state-of-the-art computer with a weird sense
of humor, and receive a warrant for any of 15 suspects. These
suspects are male, female and androgynous. After you obtain the
warrant, get to the criminal, before the specified stardate or
before you run out of fuel. The Chief does not take kindly to your
    inability to apprehend a felon.

VAL is there to help you along. You can search her database to
locate, or get information, about craters, planets, etc. Be aware
though that when you access the database you use precious fuel. You
can also hail all frequencies and zip to a planet or other area to
get additional information in capturing, or locating, your suspect.

Carmen supports all sound cards, and has digtized music that is
different for each location. It requires 6MB of hard disk space, and
comes on four 3.5" HD diskettes (coupon enclosed for 5.25 exchange).

I have always liked the Carmen series and still do. This is the most
challenging version that I have played, and I have played them all.
So, if you feel like dropping in on the Sun, visiting Halley's
Comet or any of the other constellations, moons and planets you
should get this game. The graphics and sound are excellent, and it
    is both fun and educational.
