This is a brief summary of what patches are contained in WPATCHES.COM
for Procomm Plus for Windows. WPATCHES.COM is a self-extracting archive.

   ADDS-FIX.PAT - for use with PATCH.WAX

This patch corrects a problem in the ADDS emulations in which
PROCOMM PLUS for Windows incorrectly discards nulls that are
part of the ^P cursor positioning sequence.

If you use either ADDS terminal emulation and experience screen
     formatting problems, apply this patch.

   INITSTR.PAT - for use with PATCH.WAX

By default, PROCOMM PLUS for Windows allows 59 characters in the
Initialization String edit box in the Modem Setup dialog. This patch
allows up to 79 characters to be used in the Initialization String.

   PARITY.PAT - for use with PATCH.WAX

When any type of UART error is reported by the Windows comm
driver, PROCOMM PLUS for Windows does not display the affected
character. In some cases, such as a parity error, the character
can be unaffected and should be displayed.

This patch forces PROCOMM PLUS for Windows to display all
characters, regardless of a UART error.

   SPEEDASP.PAT - for use with PATCH.WAX

By default, PROCOMM PLUS for Windows allows 20 Windows ASPECT
commands to be executed per "internal time slice".

This patch allows Windows ASPECT to execute up to 127 commands
per time slice, greatly improving the speed and usability of
     script files.

   VT8BIT.PAT - for use with PATCH.WAX

When PROCOMM PLUS for Windows receives the VT220/320 sequence to
operate in 7-bit mode, ESC <blank> F, the program no longer
recognizes 8-bit DEC commands, as the actual terminal does.

This patch allows allows the program to retain recognition of
8-bit DEC commands when put in 7-bit mode.
