NETMSG - By Andy Hubbell

This program provides an interface to send short network messages
to other users currently logged on the network.

Requirements:

 1. You must be logged into the network.
 2. The network file USERLIST must be available in your path.
 3. NETMSG.EXE & GETUSERS.BAT must be in the same directory.

To install NETMSG, put the required programs into a directory.
Use Windows to put the NETMSG.EXE file into a group and then
modify the properties to reflect the startup directory.

It is important to remember that the network file USERLIST.EXE
must be available on your path for NETMSG to run correctly.
This file is usually stored on the network drive called PUBLIC.
At times your path may change and then NETMSG program won't
respond correctly. You can eliminate this error by copying the
USERLIST file to the directory where NETMSG is stored.

When NETMSG is run the first time it checks the network for a list
of logged in users. The list of users is shown in the program to
help you expidite sending your message. This list should be
periodically refreshed because users may log off the network and
not be available for messages.

Once you have loaded NETMSG just close it, or minimize it and it
it will be available for sending messages as long as you are
logged into the network.
