 EMULATION BOARDS - GENERAL NOTES

Adding an emulation board to a system with an InBoard 386/PC, or adding
an InBoard 386/PC to a system with an emulation board should not cause
     any problems.

The INBRDPC.SYS device driver must be first in the CONFIG.SYS file.

It is possible the system will have to be run at SPEED=1 for proper
emulation because many emulation boards designed for a PC system cannot
keep up with the processing speed of the InBoard 386/PC.

 3270 TEXT TERMINAL EMULATOR

The Inboard 386/PC speed change keys may not work during emulation.

 DCA IRMACOM

You cannot run Inboard 386/PC at its top speeds when using 3278/79
Graphics Terminal Emulation with the DCA IRMA board. You must follow
these guidelines for adjusting the Inboard 386/PC's speed for 3278/79
     Graphics Terminal Emulation:

Include NOCACHE in the INBRDPC.SYS device driver
Don't include EGACACHE in the INBRDPC.SYS device driver
Use either speed 1 or 2 during emulation

The Inboard 386/PC speed change keys may not work during emulation.

 5250 EMULATOR BOARD

Intel has tested this board with Inboard 386/PC, and they are
     compatible.

 IBM 3278/79

Customer reports indicate that version 1.0 of the PC3278 program is
incompatible with Inboard 386/PC. Some users have avoided this problem
by using the 3270 Emulation program that comes with the DCA IRMA board.
Intel has no information about later versions of the IBM PC3278
     program.
