IDS

*CUSTOMER REPORTS* of compatibility with current Above Boards and Matched
Memory Classic boards in this 80286-based computer. This computer runs the
data bus at 10MHz with 1 wait state. Make sure Setboard is set for the
10MHz bus. Probably not compatible with the discontinued AB AT and AB
PS/AT due to the fast bus speed.

ITT
ITT ATW

*CUSTOMER REPORTS* of compatibility between current Above Boards and
Matched Memory Classic boards in these 10MHz 80286-based computers, as
well as the discontinued Above Board 286 and PS/286, (the Above Board AT
and PS/AT are not compatible with this system). Make sure SETBOARD is set
  to 10MHz.

Tech note: This computer runs at 6MHZ zero wait state or 10MHZ one wait
  state.

ITT XTRA PROF SERIES, MODEL 400

*CUSTOMER REPORTS* of compatibility between current Above Boards and
Matched Memory Classic boards in these 10MHz 80286-based computers.
Probably not compatible with the discontinued Above Board AT and PS/AT due
to the fast bus speed. This computer is shipped with 1meg on the
motherboard. Reports indicate current Above Boards and Matched Memory
Classic boards work as expanded memory and extended memory. Must specify
  10MHZ in SETBOARD.

ITT XTRA XP

*CUSTOMER REPORTS* of INCOMPATIBILITY between this 80286-based computer
and current Above Boards and Matched Memory Classic boards. This computer
operates an 80286 CPU but only an 8bit data bus. We have reports it was
compatible with the discontinued Above Board PC and PS/PC.

Tech note: SETBOARD won't work since it has an 8- bit bus and 286 CPU. One
customer reportedly installed the PC Selection plug and ran SETBOARD in
another PC, then put the board back into the XTRA XP, and it worked for
expanded memory after manually installing the AB Software. We haven't
  confirmed that this can work.

KAMMERMAN LABS AT

*CUSTOMER REPORTS* of compatibility with this 80286-based computer and
current Above Boards and Matched Memory Classic boards. Even have
compatibility reports between this computer & the discontinued Above Board
  286, PS/286, AT and PS/AT.

KAYPRO 286I (8MHZ)

Compatible with current Above Boards and Matched Memory Classic boards,
even with discontinued Above Board 286, PS/286, AT, and PS/AT.

KAYPRO 286I (10MHZ)

*CUSTOMER REPORTS* of LIMITED COMPATIBILITY with current non-I/O Above
Boards and Matched Memory Classic boards. The Serial Ports on Above
Boards are NOT compatible with this system due to the bus timing in this
system, and the way our ports are designed.

Customer report Above Boards work in this machine under the following
  conditions:

Run SETBOARD, choose 10MHZ speed and 150NS chip speed (even if you have
  120ns chips, choose 150).

LASER-286 AT

The Manufacturer of these 8- or 10MHz 80286-based computers report that
Above boards work if the motherboard is Revision C or later. We have not
heard any compatibility information between these computers and Matched
  Memory Classic boards.

LEADING EDGE MODEL D2 (10MHZ)

Compatible with current Above Boards and Matched Memory Classic boards.
This 80286-based system can run at 6, 8, or 10MHz, it defaults to 10MHz.
Make sure SETBOARD is set for 10MHz.

*CUSTOMER REPORT* Above Board 286 may need 120 nano-second chips to
operate at 10MHz speed. Also have reports that some D2 systems will erase
the EEPROM on the Above Board when SETBOARD is run. In these systems it is
necessary to configure the Above Board in another AT system before
installing it into the D2. Once SETBOARD is run in these EEPROM erasing D2
computers they cannot be reprogrammed in another AT, they have to be
returned to be reprogrammed or replaced.

LEADING EDGE MODEL MH

Compatible with current Above Boards and Matched Memory Classic boards.
Also have CUSTOMER REPORTS of compatibility with the discontinued Above
Board 286, PS/286, AT, and PS/AT. Software must be installed manually.
System board can have 1MB of memory. SETUP program asks for 1 of two
configuration choices - 512K or 1MB. If system board has 1MB, then use
switches on motherboard to tell system how 1MB will be divided.

      1. 640K conv. memory + 384K extended memory.
      2. 512K conv. memory + 512K extended memory.

For Above Board AT and PS/AT use configuration #2 if you want to have the
  Above Board provide extended memory.

MAXUM 286

*CUSTOMER REPORTS* of compatibility between current Above Boards and
Matched Memory Classic boards in these 80286-based computers. These 10MHz
computers are software selectable between 6 or 10 mhz and 0 or 1 wait
state. Customer must tell Setboard it will be operating in a 10mhz bus. In
the Maxum system setup utility they will need to choose the third option
  (10mhz, 1 wait state).

MICROSYSTEMS AT

*CUSTOMER REPORTS* of compatibility with the current Above Boards and the
Matched Memory Classic boards in these 80286-based computers. These are
8MHz systems which default to running the Data Bus at a non-IBM compatible
0 wait state. There is a jumper J3-J9 on motherboard that can be removed
  to add a wait state.

MITSUBISHI MP2300

*CUSTOMER REPORTS* of compatibility between current Above Boards and
Matched Memory Classic boards in these 8MHz 80286-based computers. These
computers come with 1MEG on the motherboard. Customers report even the
discontinued Above Board 286 works fine for expanded memory in these
systems, (no reports on extended memory).
