FEATURES.TXT ******************** DOS-CALC ***********************

DOS-CALC is a fully functional calculator program with many useful
functions not found in other calculator programs. DOS-CALC is a DOS
program, but has the files necessary to set up and run in WINDOWS,
as a full screen DOS window. DOS-CALC is a program, not a TSR which
uses precious memory from ALL programs. DOS-CALC has been kept
small so it can be run from a DOS SHELL from within most programs.

If you use a handheld calculator, you'll prefer to use DOS-CALC!
DOS-CALC is the perfect tool to use for calculations not requiring
the power of a spreadsheet. It has all of the standard calculator
functions plus many unique features, such as: a straight line linear
fit, annuity loan payment and balance, trig, log and exponents. It
also has a standard and constant memory registers, a built-in screen
saver and on-line help. A complete manual is also included on disk.

New in release 2.x is an integrated unit conversion function. There
are over 400 conversions already entered, but unique to DOS-CALC is
the ability to add more, up to 600 more! Also new in release 2.x is
the table function. A few example tables are included. A table is
a list of items by description and a value. DOS-CALC allows you to
open a table and select the value to be returned back to the calculator.
The table feature allows you to have an unlimited amount of
information readily available. This is especially useful for portable
computing (in the field). You can create your own tables (up 100
tables) each containing up to 1200 entries.

Of course, the best feature of DOS-CALC is that it is truly a tape
display calculator. It saves your work (180 lines) even after you
shut your computer off. You can scroll back and review your
previous calculations. The complete tape can be printed on one sheet
of 8-1/2 x 11 paper or saved as a text file.

If you want information at your finger tips and the ability to do
calculations quickly and easily, DOS-CALC is the program to use!
