                README.TXT for QwkMan Version 1.000B
                ====================================

This is the first release of QwkMan, the intelligent QWK packet manager.

This is officially a beta release of the program, although I have found
it to be pretty much bug free ( read history.txt for details on known
bugs.) If you happen across a bug that is not in HISTORY.TXT, please
  drop me a message:

Why QwkMan?
-----------
QwkMan was designed out of the desire for an easy to use QWK packet
manager which was completely configurable from day 1.

How do I start?
---------------
Easy. Just type "QWKMAN" at the dos prompt, and follow the online
help instructions. This version does not come with documentation,
but QwkMan has a complete online help system. Just hit F1 anytime
you feel lost or need help. Registered users will recieve a user's
  guide when it becomes available.

QwkMan is Trustware
-------------------
...because I trust that if you use this program you will feel
compelled to help support me so I can improve it for you.

I am asking $15 for this program, if you use it for more than 30 days.
Please send a check if you like the program, as it took me over 200
hours to write and debug so far, and I'm planning on continuing this
effort. Send an additional $5 if you want me to send you the latest
and greatest copy of the program.

I'm thinking of adding a mail reader to the program, making it a
complete QWK database reader. If I get enough response I will take
on this enourmous project. So if you have any suggestions, let me know.
But most of all, don't forget to send your check. Use ORDERFRM.TXT
  to place your order.

Hey, for those of you Windows buffs out there, I could easily port QwkMan
to Windows if you like. Again, give a call and let me know what you'd
  like to see.
