What is a Regional ?

Regional Co-ordinator is a bbs system which transfer mails to and
from individual nodes, Hosts and Zone Co-ordinator. So we expect
that there will be requests from certain systems to act as a
Regional Co-ordinator for their own country. If their country
has a large population, they may have more then one Regionals.

Requirements for Regional Co-ordinator:-

1. Regional Co-ordinators must agree to carry all conferences
in the network. Exception will only be given by the Zone
     Co-ordinator.

2. Regional Co-ordinators must be able to ensure 24 hour service
with Front-End Mailer so that the mail moves smoothly.

3. A minimum modem speed of 14.4K Bps is required.

4. Regional Co-ordinators must transfer mail at least twice a
     week.

5. Regional Co-ordinators must be able to produce the nodelist of
     their region.

We would hope that Regionals would spread the word about the
Network - and bring others into it. That would be one of the
prime purposes of a regional.
