    A Typeface by "Laser Printing Solutions" Date: 1/4/93

    Greetings,
    The enclosed Farsi-Urdu font is a Bit-mapped PCL font designed for use
    with LaserJet II & III printers. It has been derived from a PostScript
    outline font created by Kenneth Hirst. It contains the main glyphs that
    a person would use to print Farsi or Urdu script. The accent characters
    between 130 and 159 are zero width, except for 149, 150 and 151.

    To load the font and print all of the characters, simply type FARSU at
    the DOS prompt and press the enter key.

    If you are familiar with these languages and feel that additional
    characters should be added, or a standard character set assigned, please
    let me know.

    This font is donated for personal use, & to generate feedback for its
    use in Arabic applications. The outline font is not yet available for
    end-user purchase as it requires integration with an application. If you
    want to use it commercially, or have modifications made, please contact
