Slide2 is a TSR dual monitor utility for putting your
monochrome monitor to work as a text pasteboard when your not
running a program that uses both monitors. Slide2 has been
incredibly useful through WP projects, program editing, DOS shell
operations, communication sessions and virtually everything your PC
is used for.

CAUTION - Slide2 IS ADDICTIVE. After having used Slide2 for
a short time, you may find yourself aimlessly looking for Slide2
text screens when you are working on a less fortunate colleague's
single monitor machine.

The program resides in memory occupying less than 1KB of
conventional (or upper if loaded high) RAM and uses a single page
of expanded memory for a Multipage buffer. Slide2 is best when
loaded by the AUTOEXEC.BAT at system boot time. Then it is only a
keystroke away. Slide2 needs no command line parameters.

After loading Slide2, the lower right hand corner of the
monochrome monitor displays the active page. There are 6 Slide2
pages available. If EMM memory is not available, Slide2 will work
directly with the monochrome adapter memory with only a single
display page and will not enable the monochrome screen saver.

When the Control-Right Shift key combination is pressed, the
contents of the current Color display text page is written to the
monochrome monitor and saved in the active Slide2 page. The keys
have no effect when the Color monitor is active in a graphics mode.
Slide2 is available when a DOS program is active under Microsoft
Windows.

The active page is toggled by using the Control-Left Shift key
combination. When the page is toggled, the contents of the saved
page are instantly displayed on the monochrome monitor. Repeating
the page toggle will sequence through the six Slide2 pages. The
direction of the page toggle is controlled by holding the Control
key down first followed by the Left Shift for a forward toggle or
holding the Left Shift key first and pressing the Control key for
a backward toggle.

A five minute delayed screen saver for the monochrome monitor
is active whenever Multipage mode is enabled. After this period of
keyboard inactivity the monochrome monitor will blank. Pressing
any key will restore the display to its current Slide2 page.

Slide2 has been used extensively on many PC's running many
different applications without interference.
